Moving the A-7

Prior to establishing the museum in the former passenger terminal, the Sabre Society stored static aircraft on the other side of the airport. In March 2007 the aircraft were relocated to the terminal ramp. Here are a few pictuers of the process of moving one of the aircraft, the A-7.

The first step was to air up the tires. Here Kregg shows us how it's done.

The tractor is strong enough to pull the airplane, and the minivan acts as an escort across the runways.
