Fourth Annual Veteran's Day Ceremony 2009
On Sunday, November 14th at 1:30 pm, The Hickory Aviation Museum will be hosting its annual Veterans Day ceremony on the tarmac outside of the multi-purpose room at the Hickory Regional Airport. It will be open to the public and we are encouraging everyone to invite all of their friends that are Veterans to come out and join us for a time of Honor and Remembrance of all our military service men and women, past, present, living and deceased, for all of the sacrifices that they have given in their service to our country, the United states of America.We will have a JROTC color guard from a local high school and a beautiful accapella singing of the National Anthem.
The Olive Garden of Hickory, NC has graciously offered to cater lunch for all of the Veterans attending in honor of their service and sacrifices during their military career immediately following our short ceremony.
We sincerely hope to see all of you there this Sunday and please if you know of a Veteran; please invite them to come out and join us.
